Gr. 12 Media Arts CPT – Human Centred Design Gallery
As our society ages and the number of individuals living with disabilities increases, it becomes crucial to address the accessibility challenges they face daily. This project seeks to explore innovative design solutions that bridge gaps in accessibility and promote inclusivity. Leveraging design thinking principles, students will work on addressing real-world issues that seniors and people with disabilities encounter when interacting with their environments, technology, and services.
This project will enable students to empathize with these groups, identify pain points, brainstorm creative solutions, prototype accessible designs, and iteratively refine their work based on feedback. The goal is to create user-centered designs that enhance independence, ease, and quality of life for seniors and people with disabilities.
