The Newmarket Food Pantry stands as a testament to compassion and community spirit. For years, it has been a beacon of hope, supporting those in need within our town. Its history is woven with stories of resilience, kindness, and the unwavering commitment of individuals coming together to make a positive impact.

Now, as we look to the future, we are presented with an opportunity to further enhance the Newmarket Pantry through the transformative power of art. The Community Arts Mural Project is not merely an artistic endeavour but a collective effort to elevate the environment within this not-for-profit institution. Our goal is to create a visually inspiring space that reflects the diversity and vitality of our community and fosters a sense of warmth and inclusivity.

Every student participating in this endeavour also received 20 hours of community service and Design Thinking Certificates from the Future Design School. Thanks to our community partner, the Network Neighbourhood, for facilitating this collaboration! Let’s work together again next year!
