Digital Zine / Wikipedia App Design & Short Film Project

As the semester ends, the culmination of your hard work is to create one of two layout projects – a static yet redesigned Wikipedia page as an iPad app, also known as the iPad Wikipedia Layout Project OR your own Digital Zine. Either project demonstrates your understanding of desktop publishing principles and challenges you to think critically about user experience and interface design as you present information clearly while being visually appealing. Welcome to our final Media Arts gallery! Using Adobe Premiere Pro, our students created a short film to round out their Media Arts experience. This film project focuses on the theme of “Saying Goodbye to High School.” Expressing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences about this significant transition, this project aims to hone their filmmaking, editing, storytelling, and emotional expression skills through digital media.
